Jonah Vitale-Wolff is an innovative timber framer, carpenter and natural builder. He has a background in finish carpentry, timber framing, cob, natrual plasters and paints, straw bale construction and other natural building techniques. He takes great pride in creating beautiful structures and is known for his uncanny ability to solve spatial and design problems. Jonah is an organic farmer, community organizer, and father of two young children. |

Janell Kapoor
Janell is the founder, director, and program coordinator of Kleiwerks. She is a self-described avid mud mama, international activist, and community organizer. Since 1997, she has shared the joy and art of earthen building with people from 25 countries. Janell co-organized and taught the first earthen building trainings in Thailand, which have since spread to thousands. She has also taught and co-sponsored events in India, Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, and throughout her country of origin, the United States. Janell is dedicated to getting the word out about how easy, affordable, and natural it can be to house ourselves. She is dedicated to the grassroots, to the champion within each of us, and to the possibility that we may learn to live more balanced within ourselves, with eachother, and with this most beautiful planet we are blessed to inhabit. |  |
|  | Meka Bunch
Michael "Meka" Bunch attended his first Cob Cottage Co. workshop in 1996 and proceeded to build a two-story cob studio in Wolf Creek, Oregon, offering workshops during 4 years of the building process. Ever since, Meka has been muddin' it up, locally and abroad, demonstrating and teaching natural building techniques via public events and workshops. He has worked and played with Cob Cottage Co., Becky Bee of Groundworks, and most recently in Thailand and S. America, with Janell Kapoor of Kleiwerks Natural Building. He has also co-taught at two of the annual Village Building Convergence events in Portland, Oregon. |
| My Dad
I can't remember my Dad without a project, carpentry and landscaping, and always looking for the next one. I have been there with him since I could ride in the backpack. The shelves in our hosue always seemed to multiply (then fill up), all wooden toys, and eventually coaching me on my own projects and entrusting me with tools very early. In all my years with building I am yet to meet a better scavanger. We would anxiously wait for garbage night to go to the affluent neighborhood to find treasures. Some weekends would be spent digging trees out of the highway median, taking slate path stones from construction sites. Dad has been the most humble and loyal asisstant in many of my hairball projects and a great friend.

| | Pat Moriarty
Pat is a master finish carpenter and stringed-insturment maker. He has brought craft and artistry to every job for over 20 years. Pat lives in Shrewsbury, MA where he is invovled with various community projects and altenative media.
Joanne Duros
Joanne is a traditional timber-framer in Petersham, MA. Her structures are built entirely with locally harvested and milled wood and traditional hand tools. She is a trained engineer and holds the highest of standards for her buildings and students. |
