Timber Framing

Timber framing is a traditional building practice and craft that has evolved to meet the needs of modern day design and needs.
In a stick framed house the frame is all but completely hidden, while a timber frame is almost completely left exposed.  Such craftsmanship allows one to enjoy the inherent beauty of wood and traditional joinery, while also lending itself to open spaces.Timber frames and natural infill systems, such as straw bale, and light clay systems, have proven to be an ideal marriage.
