Natural Plasters

HVNB works with Earthen/Clay Plasters and Lime Plasters. Natural plasters are traditional plasters than have been refined to be applicable to modern building and renovation applications. Each plasters is completely customized to offer a broad range of textures, finishes and pigments.

Earthen/Clay Plasters
Earthen plaster is a clay and sand-based finish mixed with locally harvested clay or kaolin bagged clay. Earthen plaster can be used in the building or repairing of walls and ceilings. Plaster finishes are beautiful, durable, and non-toxic. Plaster can be sculpted into raised designs and niches, known as relief work.

Lime Plasters
Lime plasters are a great plaster option that give a brilliant finish with a rane of options for finishes. Lime plasters are more durable making them a good option for high traffic areas and areas with higher moisture levels. Lime plasters can be used in select exterior applications.
