Alis paint is a beautiful traditional finish for adobe buildings, ranging from the southwest USA to north Africa that has lasted for centuries.
Alis is a clay and milk-based paint for walls and ceilings that is now far more than just a traditional wall covering. It is used on conventional and naturally built projects. Alis can be spiced up with the addition of natural pigments, different textures of sand, and mica to get a custom looking finish. In addition to being beautiful, alis is completely non-toxic.
HVNB will custom mix proportions of clay, sand and pigment to create the perfect paint for your application. You may choose additional additives such as mica, for a speckled finish, oils, for sheen, or fine sands and clays, for texture variation. |
